Laryngeal Cancer

Laryngeal cancer is a type of respiratory system cancer that originates in the tissues of the larynx. The larynx is part of the upper respiratory tract. Laryngeal cancer can be divided into three main types: acute laryngeal cancer, sub-laryngeal cancer, and sub-laryngeal cancer.

Common symptoms of laryngeal cancer include:

  1. Difficulty swallowing
  2. Voice changes
  3. Persistent cough
  4. Throat pain
  5. Swelling in the neck or lymph nodes

Bronchial Cancer

Like other types of cancer, bronchial cancer affects the lungs and arises from certain disorders and malfunctions in the human body that lead to cell division. This can lead to abnormal growth and proliferation of these cells. Able to control it, these cells grow abnormally, resembling a mass or tumor, allowing them to spread to nearby organs and other parts of the body.

Types of Bronchial Cancer

There are two types of bronchial cancer:

  1. Non-small cell bronchial cancer
  2. Small cell bronchial cancer

Oropharyngeal cancer

Oropharyngeal cancer is a rare type of cancer compared to other types of cancer. It is a disease that requires rapid treatment immediately upon the appearance of symptoms due to its seriousness. It is worth noting that this type of cancer affects the middle part of the throat located behind the mouth, while an oropharyngeal tumor is the area that includes the back of the tongue and tonsils.

First : Surgical Intervention

Removing all or part of the tumor through open or endoscopic surgery.

Second : Radiation Therapy

Using powerful radiation to destroy tumor cells. This can be external or internal, with radiation sources implanted near the tumor.

Third : Targeted Therapy

Targeted therapy aims to target the tumor with genetically modified drugs or antibodies, such as peglizumab for lung tumors.

Fourth : Immunotherapy

Immunotherapy involves stimulating the patient's immune system within the tumor, such as nivolumab.
